As a result of remarkable reduction in poppy cultivation and as per the decree no.99 of President Hamid Karzai, the award was given to this province and therefore the Wardak Provincial Development Committee (PDC), provincial governor, district Committee, and village Shuras recommended the construction of vocational Training School Building from the funding allocated by the GPI.

The area allocated for the building is 3000 m2, the hostel building project encompasses the following including boundary wall,

1. Construction of Vocational Institute Teaching Building, which contains:

 10 classrooms
 2 storerooms
 1 teacher room
 1 information room
 1 staff room
 1 department.
 Corridor
 One main entrance and two sub entrances, as well as water supply facilities within the building.

2. Construction of Vocational School Hostel Building that comprises:

 24 bedrooms
 2 office rooms
 2 storerooms
 One corridor
 Three entrances from outside.
 One dining hall
 toilet facilities within four units (each unit contains two toilets and two showers), kitchen facilities, storage, service room, a big hall and, mosque with ablution facilities within 7.20x7.50m dimension as well as stone masonry septic tank with three meters depth. Moreover, the construction of the project will generate up to 36,542 man days of labor during the project life. Also, 36 teachers, 17 administrative personnel, and 500 students will be enrolled each year.
